Kenneth (Ken) Nordheim Born September 16, 1933, in Palo Alto, California to Ted and Lee Nordheim. Entered into rest with his family by his side on July 18, 2026, in San Jose after a long illness. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Dot) Nordheim (deceased) and Jo Anna Watt, and loving father of Stephen Nordheim and Gerald Nordheim (deceased). Ken is also survived by his sister Noreen, three nephews and their families, stepsons Mike, Chris, and Jeff Watt and their families including six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ken loved his family, his cat, and playing ukulele at the Cupertino Senior Center. He also enjoyed running his model trains.

While serving in the US Navy as a young man, he and Dot were stationed in Japan. After being discharged from the Navy, Ken worked at Eimac which merged with Varian Associates, for a total of 41 years eventually reaching a position of production manager. Ken was an active member of the Cupertino Senior Center until his illness, taking music classes for various instruments, and traveling with Senior Center tour groups. Travel was of special interest to Ken. He visited India, various European countries, and various countries in the Americas, including cruising through the Panama Canal. He also loved to visit Yosemite National Park and spent many happy times there with his family. His most favorite place was Hawaii. He spent many wonderful days in the islands with Dot and later Jo Anna, and with Mainland and Island Friends.

Ken will be remembered for his dedication to family and friends, outgoing personality, sense of humor, and generosity.

There will be a private family service with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
