Ai Yun Duh (Huang) was born in Hong Kong around 1935. She moved around China as a child because her father served in the Kuomintang Air Force, before the family moved to Taiwan when she was 14 years old.

She met her husband, Chao Fa Duh, in Taipei, and they got married in 1956. Aiyun and Chao Fa settled in Taitung, where they raised their three children. When her daughters immigrated to the United States and started families, Ai Yun and Chao Fa started splitting their time between the United States (California and New Jersey) and Taiwan to help raise their seven grandchildren.

Ai Yun loved her family above all else, and she expressed that love in the ways she knew best: through her delicious cooking, picking up after her grandchildren, and carefully saving and treasuring every gift she received. She had an incredibly tenacious spirit, which she passed along to future generations, best captured by how she never gave up sugar despite her diabetes and by her remarkable ability to only hear what she wanted to hear. In recent years, her life was enriched by her great-grandchildren. She saw them almost every day, and holding and playing with them was one of her most anticipated and joyful pastimes. She remained active and in good health until very recently, enjoying competitive games of mahjong, going on walks, listening to her favorite Fei Yu-Ching songs, and browsing the flea market.

She is now reunited with beloved husband, Chao Fa Duh, her birth mother, father George Huang, stepmother Yen Hung Huang, and brothers Leo Huang, Bob Huang, and Ji-Ming Huang.

She is survived by her loving family, including her siblings, Stella Tsao (Andy), Tom Huang (Leslie), and Patrick Huang (Pauline); her three children, Shyun Duh (Tsen-Shau Yang), Woei Duh (Fun-Mei Tsai), and Shyun Chen (Minglong Chen); her grandchildren, Christine Yang (Peter), Tiffany Yang, Max Yang (Cynthia), Ming Duh, Chyuan Duh (Tiffany), Andrew Chen, and Jonathan Chen; and her great-grandchildren, Sam, Luke, and Emilia. 黃靄雲 6/17/1935 - 8/22/2026

黃靄雲在約1935年出生於香港。 兒童時期因父親為中國國民政府空軍效命，而在中國各地遊歷，十四歲時移居臺灣。

靄雲認識她丈夫杜趙發在臺北，兩人在1956年結婚。結婚後兩人定居於臺東，並在臺東扶養三個孩子。 當她們的女兒移民到美國後，她們開始在美國(加州，紐澤西州)與臺灣臺東之間往返，來幫忙照護七個孫子。

靄雲深深愛著她的家人們，用她知道得最好的方式展現她的愛：為家人們烹飪美味的料理，耐心地跟在孫子們後面善後，珍重妥善地收藏每一份收到的禮物。 她傳承堅韌不拔的精神，儘管她有糖尿病，她依舊保持對甜食的熱愛。 她也有過人的天賦在聽進她想聽的訊息(她大女兒跟兒子有繼承這項天賦)

最近幾年，曾孫們到來，帶給靄雲的生活充滿生命力的歡笑。靄雲幾乎每天都能見到她的寶貝曾孫，而且抱著曾孫是她最期盼也是最歡樂的消遣。靄雲一直都很健康， 三個月前還能開心地跟家人打麻將, 自己出門散步，開心地聽她最愛的歌手費玉清的歌曲，還有跟家人去逛跳蚤市場。

她現在已跟她老公杜趙發，生母，以及生父黃磋志，繼母，黃文長，黃文新和黃濟民在一起團聚。

靄雲身後留有深愛她的家人, 黃靄茹(曹祥高), 黃文威(莫運洪),和黃文英(簡美花); 她三的孩子;杜珣(楊存孝)，杜暐(蔡芳美)，杜瑄(陳明隆); 她孫子們，楊天昕(彼得)，楊天昀，楊天岳(黃筱卿)，杜銘，杜銓，陳懷祖，陳懷生; 以及她的曾孫；楊恩寧，楊恩豪，楊恩瑜
