Obituary

Anna passed away peacefully in her home in the loving care of her family after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Long Beach, CA, the daughter of two Methodist ministers, Clarence and Vinita Miller. She spent part of her childhood in Arizona where she grew to love the land and the native peoples of the area.
After high school she attended UOP, graduating in 1958. She continued her education with a year of graduate studies at Northwestern. Returning to California, Anna began teaching elementary school. In 1960 she met Ron Green in the church choir in Santa Barbara and they began making music together. They were married in 1961.
They had three daughters who loved music and joined them to perform as The Green Family Singers.
They also played in the folk groups Seven Grain, Harvest and Sunrise. Anna co-founded the Woodhaven Concert Series, and Mount Madonna Folk Music Camp. She also taught guitar in adult education, gave private piano lessons and wrote, illustrated and self-published several music books for children.
Anna is remembered as a kind, gentle, loving soul. Her sweet spirit will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband Ron, daughters Rebecca, Sarah, and Joanna, and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 17 at 2 pm at the Los Gatos United Methodist Church. 111 Church St. Los Gatos
