Jean passed away, at the age of 87, at Good Samaritan Hospital from complications from heart failure.   At the time of her passing, Jean was surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and, spouses.

Jean was born in Canton, Ohio and grew up in Faribault, Minnesota.

Jean was a stay-at-home mother.  After all of the children were in school, she stated working part-time during the day in the accounting departments of Sears and later at Tandem Computers.  She retired from outside work in 1999.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years Beverly, and their children and spouses.  Larry and Diane Barr, Cynthia and Bart Krotik, David Barr, Michael Barr, Sharon and Tom Korhummel, Mary and Brant Schindler, and John and Susan Barr.  Jean and Beverly also have six grand children and four great grandchildren.

Grandchildren:  Kristofer, Nikolas, Amanda, Regan, Kendall, and Colton.

Great Grandchildren: Arya, Liam, Decker, and Henry.
