Carole Frances Kennedy died November 22, 2017. She leaves behind her loving husband of more than forty years, Andy, her daughters Michelle Muscatell and her husband Gary Muscatell and Deb Thomas and her partner Brenda Handy, and her sisters Cathy Kennedy and Miriam Kennedy. She was predeceased by her parents Raymund and Edith Kennedy and her sister Marialyce Shaw.

Carole was born in Minot, North Dakota and spent the majority of her adult life in California. She loved life and was blessed with a beautiful sole that radiated through her smile and quiet demeanor.  Her love of nature brought joy to her life with trees changing color, waves crashing on a sandy beach, birds nesting outside the kitchen window, and flowers bursting with color. Her days at home were filled with cooking, reading, writing, playing games and sharing a good laugh with friends and family. She lived her life through a lens of integrity, compassion, and curiosity. Carole had a deep spirituality which she shared with her faith community at St. Jude the Apostle Episcopal Church.

A funeral will be held on Friday, December 1st at St. Jude the Apostle Episcopal Church, 20920 McClellan Road, Cupertino at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 22555 Cristo Rey Dr. 22555 Cristo Rey Drive, Los Altos, CA for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude the Apostle Episcopal Church Endowment Fund at 20920 McClellan Road, Cupertino, CA 95014.
