Casildo "CJ" Romero, 22, of San Jose, California, died June 5, 2018. CJ was born March 18, 1996 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the son of Casildo A. and Dani S. Romero. CJ grew up in Campbell, California, and graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in 2014. He was currently enrolled at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA where he was majoring in Music Production & Sound Design for Visual Media major and was also part of the Urban Knights Baseball team as a relief pitcher.

CJ contributed to numerous baseball communities in his 22 years of life, including Archbishop Mitty High School, Ohlone Jr College, Academy of Art University, and the San Jose Reds.

CJ is survived by his parents Casildo and Dani Romero of San Jose, California and his sister Ally Romero. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Darrell and Josephine Anderson, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and his paternal grandfather Nicolas Romero of Espanola, New Mexico. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his close friends Jake Belardes, Joey Jennison, Carlos Jimenez, Chris Zapata.

CJ was cremated per his wishes on Friday, June 7, 2018 by the wonderful employees of Alameda Family Funeral and Cremation in Saratoga, California.
