Cynthia Gail Campbell was born in Denver, Colorado to Russell and Lydia Campbell on November 10, 1935. She came from remarkable parents, was raised with class, style and grace which she carried through to the end of her life. Her sensitive heart touched the lives of those who were her family and friends, as well as the many animals she adopted in her lifetime.

At an early age, Cynthia and her family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Granite High School and was among the first graduating class of Olympus High School. She then married her high school sweetheart, Ray C. King, with whom she had two children. Her life with Ray was adventurous for the time; he was a top executive with Hewlett Packard and she was very much a partner in his work life entertaining guests from around the world, and traveling the world. Together they lived in Colorado, then to Scotland and finally to California.

Cynthia was a gourmet chef, wonderful entertainer and had a fantastic sense of humor. Her many interests in life included her involvement in the cycling world and traveling around the state of California. She was extremely devoted and compassionate to animals; those of whom she adopted and the many organizations she supported.

Her career, after her marriage ended, was with Xerox Corporation and she excelled to Credit Manager with many outstanding accolades. She accepted an early retirement with Xerox and happily resided in the Bay Area until the very end of her life when she peacefully passed October 9, 2021. She leaves behind her two loving children, Kathleen Ann King and David Ray King.
