Daniel William Dunphy was born on June 29, 1949 in Akron, Ohio to William P. and Natalie J. Dunphy. He graduated from Akron St. Vincent High School in 1967 and attended The University of Akron afterward.

A California resident for 45 years, he passed away peacefully on April 25, 2017. His years in the Bay area included work in the restaurant business; and for the last 16 years as an inside sales person for the Marcone Company.

Daniel leaves behind his sister Margaret Bouchard (Lawrence) of Uniontown, OH, brothers Patrick J. (Nancy) of New Orleans, LA, Thomas J. (Mary Jane) of San Jose, and Michael B. (Diane) of Canton, OH. He also leaves behind the lights of his life, nephews and nieces Eric (Ann-Marie), Debbie (Rob), Elizabeth, Carolyn, Brian, Katie, Bill (Jaclyn); and great-nieces and-nephews Michael T., Olivia, Brendan, Jonathan, Ella, Michael P., and Natalie.

At Daniel's request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held with close family in attendance
