Daniel Murphy passed away peacefully on January 19, 2022 with his loving wife Janet at his side.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, his sons Daniel and Robert, his grandson Jeremiah, his sister Michael Ann, his sister-in-law Geri, and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved brother Timothy.

Daniel was born April 1,1940 to Daniel and Eloise Murphy in Ames, Iowa.  He grew up in Palo Alto, California and graduated from St. Francis High School.  Daniel and Janet bought their home in Cupertino in 1965.  Daniel worked hard all his life to take care of his family and his home.  He loved music, traveling, and photography.  His special joy was taking pictures of his grandson Jeremiah.  He will be deeply missed by his family.
