Our beloved husband and father passed away suddenly at his home April 23, 2023.  Dave was born to Robert and Glendell Hopkins McRoberts in Searcy, Arkansas.  His family moved to Oakland, California when he was three.  He graduated from Oakland Tech High School and joined the United States Air Force thereafter, where he served in Japan.

Dave was a business owner in San Jose along with his wife, Pat.  They enjoyed traveling, dancing, working out and playing cards, but what he loved the most was spending time with his family.  His grandchildren were the delight of his life.  Dave was an avid golfer, enjoying many courses with his friends and family. He always had a very positive attitude which has influenced many of his family members and friends over the years and he loved telling a good joke.

He was pre-deceased by his brother, Skip, and sons, David and Doug.  Besides Pat, his wife of forty-one years, David is survived by his sons Mark (Bernadette), Mike (Debbie), Rick Stadtmiller, Brian Stadtmiller, daughter Nancy Meyerdirk (Monte), grandchildren Jaime, Stewart, Kacy, Cole, Greta, Abigail, Tilden, Meredith and great grandchildren Wailana, Moani and Maverick.
