Eva passed away on Aug. 16 at the age of 87. She was born in Quincy, CA to John and Eva Huntington. She graduated from Chico State University in the first nursing class in 1956. She spent a year working at UCSF, then she married her husband Andrew in 1957 and moved to San Jose.

Eva was a kind, generous person who loved her husband and her family. She worked as a public health nurse for Santa Clara County for several years, then as a school nurse in the Jefferson Elementary School District in Santa Clara. She then became a homemaker and raised three wonderful children. She resumed her career as a school nurse for the Cupertino Union School District.

Everything Eva did revolved around her family, and she was the family's health advisor and seamstress. She made clothing for her children and all their costumes for Halloween. She was happiest at family gatherings and on the golf course with Andrew.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Andrew, her three children Steve (Patti), David (Phuong), and Diane (Salvatore), and grandchildren Justin, Mackenzie, Kelly, and Benjamin.

A celebration of her life will be held at a family gathering in December. Donations to your favorite charity in her name are much appreciated.
