Genevieve ("Tommie") Andersen of Saratoga, CA passed away peacefully on July 16, 2023.  She was 97 years young.  Tommie was born in Seattle WA, followed her husband to Spokane, WA, New Britain, CT Riverside, CA and finally to Saratoga where they lived for 66 years.  In 1958, she successfully worked with her Saratoga homeowner's association to resist their annexation into San Jose.  During her lifetime, she lovingly cared for her husband of 60 years, her three sons, and many members of her family, neighbors, and friends.  Tommie also was an elder in the Cowlitz Native American Tribe in the Seattle area.  Her light will be missed.
