Gloria Chavez, beloved daughter of Beatriz and Paco Chavez of San Jose, California, passed away way too soon on April 20, 2024, at the age of 50. An only sister to Alicia Robertson and sister-cousin to Juan Chavez and Miroslava Chavez-Garcia, she will be remembered as a force of life. Growing up, she had a penchant for dance, art, and makeup, among other creative outlets. She also loved to read fantasy and classic novels and was enamored with Alice in Wonderful. She took many vacations to Disneyland and attended concerts and shows with friends enjoying both alternative and mainstream music. A lover of cats, she had many, including Juniper, in her lifetime and adorned her social media with photos of their antics.

Gloria had many cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends who surrounded her with love, support, and friendship throughout the years. She was especially close to her mother, Beatriz, whose passing ten years ago hit her particularly hard, leaving a void that only a mother could fill.
