Elaine Ohlfs, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Cupertino, CA on May 4th, 2025 at the age of 84.  She followed her husband's passing by one month after sharing 64 years of marriage together.

Born in Pasadena, CA, on January 5, 1941, Elaine developed an immense appreciation for languages and culture in part due to her global exposure as an Army dependent.  Following her graduation from UCLA in 1961, she married Ron and they eventually settled into their Cupertino home for 57 years raising five children (Mike, Keith, Diane, Kurt & Brett) and later adding a dozen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Elaine's greatest love shared with her husband was the building of their family legacy together.  Ron with his engineering background was the detailed planner while Elaine with her love for literature and the arts ensured the cultural exposure to the journey.  Together they created a beautiful holistic model of parenting filled with compassion, conscience and competence.
