Born in Koblenz, Germany, Harald moved to Chico, CA, and later settled in Cupertino, where he spent his life creating a legacy of love and hard work. In 1988, he married the love of his life, Irina Sinzig, and together they raised two sons, Viktor and Nicholas.

Harald's love for adventure and the outdoors was evident in his favorite pastime – boating. He owned a 22 ft runabout boat, purchased in 2002, which became his pride and joy. From Clear Lake to Lake Tahoe and beyond, he explored the beauty of California's lakes with his family, finding his love in the Delta, his favorite vacation spot for over 10 years.

Professionally, Harald ran an automotive repair shop, a family business he took over from his father, August Sinzig. For over 35 years, he serviced German cars in the Palo Alto area, earning the respect and loyalty of customers who admired his dedication and expertise.

Harald's boundless energy extended to various projects, from cultivating his garden in his Cupertino home to the relentless commitment to his shop, where he would start his day at 6 am for over three decades.

Harald's early years included skiing trips in Austria and Lake Tahoe with his family. Summers were spent at Blue Lakes, fostering a love for the lake that later evolved into a deep passion for boating.

Harald Walter Sinzig will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his deep love for his family, and the joy he found in every adventure.
