Clink Anderson was born in San Francisco and was a resident of Saratoga for 58 years. Honored as Woman of the Year, she was a member of the Summit League, the Good Samaritan League, Montalvo Service Group, the Foothill Club,Ming Quong and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. She was instrumental in bringing Hospice of the Valley to Santa Clara County.
