Helen Lero Peters left this world on January 17, 2022, at the age of 93. After a six-month battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully in her home with her daughters by her side. Helen enjoyed traveling the world over – it was one of her greatest passions in life – and she continued to do so after the passing of her beloved husband Louis in 1998. She is survived by her daughter Adrienne Moore, along with grandsons Jason DeLong, Ryan Bombini, and Nicholas Bombini, and her daughter Jamie Peters-Connolly (Hugh). Helen also leaves behind two beautiful great granddaughters, Aubrey and Stella Bombini. Helen was laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Serbian Orthodox Cemetery, where her parents are also interred. In lieu of flowers, please just spread kindness and compassion.
