Holly Saenz passed away peacefully on September 12, 2019. She leaves behind her son, Michael Saenz; her daughter Christine van de Water; grandson Oliver van de Water; and a community of friends. She is also survived by her brothers; Son Dang, Tuan Dang, and Minh Dang and their children.

Holly was born in Ha Noi, Vietnam where she attended French school. She later met her husband, Albert Z. Saenz, in Saigon where they were married in 1975. They later moved to the United States shortly after their marriage.

She worked for an import/export company, as a translator, an admin at Bell Helicopters, and later worked as a realtor with her husband for over 25 years in the Bay Area, California.

Holly lived her life with passion, generosity and was very devout in her faith. She loved to sing and was active in the church choir at St. Joseph of Cupertino Parish. Some of her hobbies included singing, gardening, entertaining, and socializing with her friends and community.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
