John Baptist Gragnola 87, of Saratoga, CA passed away peacefully on February 27, 2017. John was the son of Nazzareno and Veronica Gragnola.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, John earned his Bachelor of Science of Business Administration from DePaul University and his Masters of Business Administration from University of Chicago.

In 1957 John married his wife of 59 years, Lois Gragnola. John served two years in the army in El Paso, Texas before starting his career at Allstate Insurance as an Executive Vice President.

John loved to play golf and was a long time member of Saratoga Country Club. He liked to play poker and loved to tell a good joke. He took great pride in his Italian heritage.

John was an incredible man and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife Lois, his four children David (Kristin), Jim (Yvonne), Tom (Crissy, and Lori. He is also survived by his grandchildren John, Jackie, Nicole, Robby, Nick, Kyle, Sean, Dominic, and Giada.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10 at 2 pm at Sacred Heart Church.
