We are sad to announce the unexpected passing of John Joseph Haggerty at the age of 78. John was a long time resident of Saratoga and is survived by his loving wife, Carol and five daughters, Colleen Haggerty (Jeff Arnett), Jeanne Haggerty-Arcay (Marcel Arcay), Julie Haggerty, Jill Haggerty (Andy DeBolt) and Joanne Haggerty. He was a proud grandfather of Marius, Mavees, Rhedyn, Maya and Kyle.

He attended Serra High School, San Jose State and Golden Gate Universities. He served in Vietnam before working at IBM for over 25 years. He was a passionate supporter and leader of many community activities including the Sacred Heart Church, Saratoga Music Boosters, 4-H youth development program, Clover Foundation of Santa Clara County, Prusch Park Foundation, and the CA Association of Realtors.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 13716 Saratoga Avenue in Saratoga.
