John Noone, resident of Cupertino since 1980, passed away on August 16 at age 65. Retired, he had been a Software Engineer after completing his MS in Computer Software from SJSU in 1977.

He is survived by Leslye, his wife of 45 years & their children Christopher, Veronica, fiancé Mark Dehmer, Chelsea & husband Vivek Shah who all live in the Bay Area. Other relatives live in CA, NY, IL, and MA.

He loved playing & coaching soccer, swimming & running, having completed several marathons, most recently the Boston Marathon in 2010. He was a member of the Cupertino De Anza Lions Club for 10 years. In lieu of flowers, please donate to his Club.

Funeral services will be held at the Alameda Family Funeral home, 12341 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road, Saratoga on August 24 at 1:00pm.
