John I. Reilly, IV passed away on Nov 3, 2016 due to complications from cancer.
John was born in Phoenix, Arizona on March 20, 1966. John attended high school at Pittsburg High in Pittsburg, California where he lettered in both Cross Country and Track. He attended college at California State University, Hayward where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with an accounting option in 1988. He went on to receive a Master's in Business Administration in 1990. John also held a CPA license in California. John began his career at Grant Thornton, where he met his wife, Ingrid. John worked at Cisco Systems for 17 years, ending his time there as the Director of Global Revenue. In the final three years of his career, John worked at FireEye, Inc. as Corporate Controller. John was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend. He had a strong interest in history, enjoyed reading historic non-fiction, followed football and loved old television sitcoms. Most of all, John valued spending time with his wife and son. He was a mentor to others, and he was known for his generosity, his gentle and kind-hearted nature, his humble level-headed approach to life and his sense of humor.

John is survived by his wife of 16 years, Ingrid, and son, Jack. John is also survived by his mother, Jeanne, his in-laws Alice and James Chen, five siblings, Mary, Brenda (Vincent), Rita (John), Joe (Lacie) and Peggy (Niels) and brother-in-law, Dwight. He is preceded in death by his father, John, and his brother-in-law, Neil (Mary). He is also survived by his 6 nephews and 4 nieces. Family and friends are invited to attend a public viewing and funeral mass from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm on November 12, 2016 at St. Joseph's of Cupertino with the procession to the cemetery to immediately follow. John will be interred at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos.
