Laura Bjorklund (61), beloved wife of Alan Sherr, step-mother of Reuben, Micah, and Jonas Sherr, grandmother of Ella Sherr, sister of Jeffrey Meyers, sister-in-law of David and Janet Sherr, Marilyn Bulli, and Paula of Du Quoin, aunt of Anna and Ethan Sherr, Fred Burki and Abby and Ryan Meyers, died at her home in Los Gatos on September 20, 2016. Ms. Bjorklund was born in Chicago to Patricia Bird and lived a full life, residing in diverse communities throughout the U.S., calling Massachusetts and California her home.

Laura was passionate, caring, and fiercely intelligent, a unique spirit who lit up rooms when she entered.

A memorial service will be held at the Alameda Family Funeral Home, 12341 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road on Tuesday, September 27 at 11:00 a.m.
