Obituary

Lillian Yuriko Matsuda was born on July 14th, 2005. As the youngest sister of five in the Matsuda family, she was raised with lots of love, care, and support.

Lillian was an intelligent and responsible girl that always put her academics first. Her family never had to remind her to do her work because she was so organized and held herself accountable. Lillian worked hard in school because she dreamed of becoming a rich engineer.

Lillian was a sweet girl that cared about her family members. In the holiday season, she would spend all of her savings to buy a gift for each and every one of them. She also invited family members to play games with her often, as this was one of her hobbies.

Lillian was a strong girl that was confident in her physical ability. She was often the fastest runner in her class and represented her Japanese school class during Sports Day events. As a young girl, she loved to climb everything including trees, rocks, mountains, walls, and people. She used to say, "I want to be a monkey when I grow up. I like climbing and I like eating bananas."

She passed away and joined her grandparents in heaven on Monday, September 3rd, 2018 at the age of 13. Today, she is probably watching her favorite anime series with the rest of our ancestors.
