Lois Marie Scott (Rentsch),  passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones on October 4th, 2022.  She was 91.

Lois was born in San Francisco on May 17, 1931,  spent her youth in Oakland and then in Daly City where she  graduated from Jefferson High School  in 1949.  She went on to study art and accounting at San Jose State University where she met her future husband, Richard Scott.  They were married in 1950 and were together for 48 years until Richard passed away in 1998.

She is survived by her three sons, Bryan, Craig and David; six grandchildren, Nathan, Trina, Craig Jr., Elizabeth, Matthew and Emily as well as her six great grandchildren including her most recent addition, Aurora,  who was born in May, 2022 just days after Lois's 91 birthday.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents Walter and Marie Rentsch and brother Lloyd, sister Ann and brother Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, October 13th, 2022 at Alameda Funeral & Cremation, Saratoga.  She will be interred immediately afterwards at Madronia Cemetery, Saratoga.
