Obituary

Loretta A. Bassman was the beloved wife of George Bassman for 58 years.  Loving mother of Joanne Longoria, David Bassman and Richard Bassman.

Devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren: Angela, Alyssa, Jessica, Jacob, Steven, Heather, Tinja, Romana, Leala, ILithiya, Noella, and Abrielle and 5 great grandchildren: Daniel, Malayah, Brayden, Dylan, and Journey.

Loretta was born August 10, 1940 to Dave and Angelina Ferrara of Petaluma, CA.  Along with several brothers and sisters, she grew up in Petaluma, CA and graduated from Petaluma High School, class of 1958 and went on to obtain an Associated of Arts degree from De Anza College Cupertino, CA.

Loretta was a member of Cupertino Historical Society, serving on the Travel Trunk team for 11 years.  Also enjoyed membership in Railroad Museum at Ardenwood Park and TOPS, Inc.  She was a devoted member of St. Joseph of Cupertino Parish.

Loretta and George enjoyed their travels together around the US and parts of Canada. Loretta loved the outdoors, the redwoods, and camping in their trailer.
