Martha "Tita"
Salazar-Correa
Oct 23, 1963 — Nov 3, 2021
Martha "Tita" Salazar Correa, 58, of San Jose, CA, went home to Jesus on November 3, 2021. Martha was born in Gilroy, CA on October 23, 1963, at Wheeler Hospital, to her parents Mary and Frank Salazar. She was the eldest of 16 and made sure she took care of all of her siblings' needs. Growing up, her hobbies included playing the clarinet, roller skating, jump roping, and laughing. Martha excelled and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1981. On August 16, 1989, she married her husband, Gary George Correa Sr. Together, they have 8 children, 4 girls and 4 boys, and 9 grandchildren. She was most proud of her big beautiful family. Martha worked as a caring school bus driver for 15 years at Durham School Services; although, she always wanted to become a flight attendant. Martha always had a smile on her face and exerted an unmatched, beautiful, selfless energy throughout her entire life. From growing up with her siblings to raising her children and hanging out with her grandchildren, Martha was always dancing, and singing like an opera singer. No matter what situation someone was in, Martha would always be there for them, even if she could only offer her love. Martha is survived by her husband Gary George Correa Sr and her 8 children Monica, Michelle, Gary, Melanie, Ronnie, James, Jessica, and Jesse. The funeral services will be held at Alameda Funeral and Cremation on Thursday, November 18 at 5:00 pm. Viewing services will be from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm PT. Burial services will follow the funeral on Friday, November 19 at 2:30 pm at Mission City Memorial. In lieu of flowers, please send them to Alameda Family Funeral and Cremation or Mission City Memorial. Donations can be made in Michelle Cuaresma's name as well.
