He graduated from UCLA with a BS in Accounting and went to work for Haskins and Sells.  Marvin spent two years in the Navy.  In 1959 Marvin went to work for Rocketdyne, a division of North American and spent 17 years with Rockwell Int.

Marvin taught the family to water and snow ski.  They camped and went dune buggying.  They traveled to the Bahamas, Hawaii, and Alaska.  The beloved Lake Tahoe area was a favorite.   Marvin loved to jog, work out at the gym and go fishing.  He loved his Church, Immanuel Lutheran in Saratoga, where he was active in many activities.  He enjoyed working for Habitat for Humanity and driving people places.  He was a man who believed in faith, family and friends.
