Diane Gow of Saratoga, California

1940-2024

Nan Diane Bradley was born on September 26, 1940, daughter of James and Helen Bradley, in Ottawa Canada. Diane was the older sister and guiding light to siblings Sylvia and Thomas. She was an active member of the local drama club as a child, before and during her time at Fisher Park High School.

Having married her high school sweetheart, Harry Gow in 1958, they quickly started a family and a life together prior to moving to California. Diane was mother to four children, Nancy-Ann (Steve), Sherri-Lee (Rich), Harry Jr. (Julie) and Andy (Melanie), and was blessed with eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Diane was an integral part of the Los Olivos neighborhood 'village', cherishing her role which built a community of compassionate and loving families, and life-long friendships. She worked multiple jobs ranging from switchboard operator at JC Penney, to various bookkeeping endeavors before starting her own company as a tax analyst.

Before his passing in 2006, Diane and Harry spent many years traveling throughout Europe, attending the Olympics in both Salt Lake City and Calgary, as well as the 'occasional' casino visit. After more than 55 years in their Saratoga home, and when the effects of Alzheimer's began to worsen, Diane moved to Yountville with her daughter Nancy where she met new friends and became part of a new community.

Family was everything to Diane and remained the focus with weekly phone calls, correspondence and gathering often for celebrations. Although she will be missed, she will be a part of everyone's heart and their kind deeds forever.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:00 with a live streamed service for those unable to attend.
