Nikita Shvedov, age 16, of Cupertino California died on June 3, 2020. He was born July 25, 2003 and lived 16, almost 17, joyful years of life. Nikita loved traveling and playing Badminton, he was one of the members of the Fremont High School Badminton team. Nikita was in 11th grade, and would have graduated from Fremont High School. He was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to Cupertino, California when he was 11 years old. He went to Lawson Middle School and had outstanding learning skills. Even though he came to school with no English skills, he persevered and after a few years became a fluent English speaker. Nikita also enjoyed hiking, swimming, and trying something new. Going to the beach was one of Nikita's favorite places to go and have a good time with his family. Nikita was a very happy person; he enjoyed every day of his life. He was kind and social, he had many good friends that described Nikita as a positive and funny person. His viewing will be on Sunday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Alameda Family Funeral and Cremation, and his Funeral will be on Monday at Gate of Heaven Cemetery which will start at 12:45.
