Peggy Z. Ward's Obituary
Peggy Ward, 98, of Sunnyvale, CA died January 12, 2019.
A memorial service and burial will be held at 12pm, Monday, January 28, 2019 at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.
Peggy was born in Pelahatchie, Mississippi to Dennis and Ruth (Gray) Winstead. She attended University of Mississippi. In 1944 she married Felix Ward Jr. She was a homemaker, talented artist and pianist, avid gardener and a devout 49ers fan.
Mrs Ward was preceded in death by her husband, Commander Felix Ward Jr. and her son, The Rev. Felix Ward III. She is survived by her daughter in law, Kathleen Grainger; granddaughter and her husband, Rebecca and Iroro Orife; grandson, Felix Ward IV; great grandchildren, Onajite and Odette Orife; and niece, Martha Stobaugh.
