With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of C.M.Radhakrishnan (Radha) on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the age of 90. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife, children, and close family. Born on May 27, 1935, in Chennai, India, Radha earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and spent his professional life in the paper and mining industry in Orissa, India. In 1960, he married Bhanumathi, beginning 64 years of true companionship. The couple emigrated to the USA in 2012 and settled in Saratoga, CA.

A loving husband, brother, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Radha found joy in life's simple pleasures. Sitting in his garden, enjoying the California sun with a newspaper in hand, was one of his favorite pastimes. Despite health challenges in his final two years, he maintained a positive outlook. Though no longer with us, his calm and kind spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

The Shankar family will hold a viewing and cremation ceremony for Appa on Wednesday, October 23rd, at Alameda Family Funeral & Cremation in Saratoga.
