Regina Josephine Liu passed away on September 10, 2023 surrounded by family and friends at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto.

Regina was born on March 20, 1974 in Sacramento, California as the oldest of three siblings.  In 1979, she and her family moved to Santa Clara and she graduated valedictorian at Mt. Pleasant High School in 1992.  She continued her education at De Anza College and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, where she met her husband Henry Ngo.  Together, they settled into the San Jose Almaden Valley, and raised three bright and caring boys--Jaden, Justin, and Jaspen.

Her passion for life and infectious laughter brought joy wherever she went, including to those that worked with her during her 25-year career at IBM, where she made many lifelong friends.  She loved exercising and organizing biking and camping trips with friends and family, and often had large groups together for vacations.  Her hobbies were many, and she had an entire room dedicated to art and crafts.  Instruments of all sorts filled her home, and she especially enjoyed singing at holiday parties.

Her exuberance and care for others was felt by all those who knew her, and the imprint she left in our hearts will remain forever.  She will be dearly missed and her memories with us eternally cherished.

She is survived by her husband Henry Ngo, three sons Jaden, Justin, and Jaspen Ngo, parents Andy and Pui Liu, and brothers Raymond and Nevin Liu.
