Robert "Bob" was born Brockton, MA. He joined the Air Force during the Korean War and was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska and then he was transferred to a US support base for the Canadian Royal Air Force in Winnipeg, Canada, where he met the love of his life, Anne. He described her as the prettiest girl he'd ever met and they were married in 1949. When he left the Air Force he was hired by Lockheed Martin in Southern California and transferred to the Sunnyvale facility. He worked there for the rest of his life as an Aerospace Engineer unit he retired in 1992. Bob and Anne had three children; Robert , Jr., who preceded him in death, Linda and Brian.
He loved building and flying model airplanes, boating and fishing and participating in the Lockheed Breakfast Club. Bob was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Family and Friends are invited to a Viewing 8:30 to 11:30 am Saturday September 10, 2016 followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at the Alameda Family Funeral Home 12341 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd. Saratoga, CA. A reception will immediate follow at the funeral home.
