Obituary

Robert Coffman was dedicated to his family and had good moral values. He was a loving husband of 38 years to his wife, Kathryn Coffman. A dedicated father to his son's Christopher and Justin, and loving grandfather to Sofia. Robert spent more than half of his life sacrificing his body to provide for his family and put food on the table and keep a roof over their head. His job cost him to miss out on many of his son's life achievements. Robert always did his best to call his family every night to tell his wife and son's he loved them and to teach his son's life's many lessons over the phone. Even after working long and hard days, Robert always made time to spend with his son's.

In his second phase of life, Robert had various health battles that affected him physically. With the love and support of his wife Kathryn, and his son's and granddaughter, Robert continued to fight to watch his son's transition into adulthood. Robert took great pride in watching his son Justin become a father and always enjoyed the love and company of his granddaughter, Sofia who he would always save the last cookie or sweet treat for. Even though Robert was struggling and his body was physically failing him, he managed to keep and pass on his goofy sense of humor to his family. His humor stayed with him up to his last days and his family can look back and smile when they think of him.

There is no doubt Robert was a lucky man to have his wife Kathryn by his side through thick and thin through the entirety of his life. Their love and bond provided an excellent model and foundation of a relationship that their son's continue to admire.

Lastly, Robert was able to pass on his love of baseball, as well as several life values to his son's such as respecting others, working hard to earn everything you have in this life, and that no bond is stronger than family.
