Born in Middletown, Connecticut Sandra moved to California in the early 1950's. For 53 years Sandra and her loving husband Robert made Cupertino their home. She is survived by her children: Sheila, Tom (Karen), and Christine (LeRoy), grandchildren Sarah, Brett, Isabella & Tristan, along with a brother Thomas Termine,  many cousins and Ginger and Ruby (dogs).

Sandra was an active member of Laureate Theta Omega chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Service Sorority for over 40 years and earned the degree of "Torchbearer". During her time as a member she volunteered for various charitable organizations and dedicated her service to the community. Blessed with a great sense of humor her contagious laugh was always shared at meetings and socials.

Her Sicilian heritage was palpable in her amazing hosting and remarkable cooking abilities that she shared freely with family and friends. Her family recipes and welcoming personality always made  holiday gatherings extra special. However, she had one rule: no one could leave hungry. More often, one left her warm home much too full.

Sandra expressed her creativity through many outlets- oil painting, scrapbooking, and handmade cards with her group the Crafty Ladies. She ensured her children and grandchildren were exposed to different mediums to cultivate their creativity too.

She had a passion for travel that was apparent in her vacation planning. Her frequent adventures encompassed a myriad of destinations including the United States, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, Central America and Europe. Hawaii was another family destination with many trips and Thanksgiving holidays spent on the islands. In her later years she discovered the joys of cruising and loved Alaska as a destination.

Her love of family was evident in the care she showed for her husband, children, grandchildren and dogs. She was always a friend, a support to her kids and her love of learning kept her young at heart. She will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her friendship, kindness, humor and love.
