It is with a heavy heart that I announce we lost our Dear daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and good friend, Sarah Jean.
Heaven became a lot richer when they opened their loving arms to receive her.
An amazing self taught Artist, her works were displayed in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berlin and her native Nevada City. She loved anything and everything unusual!
A native of Grass Valley/Nevada City, she spent her first 17 years in the Sierra Foothills. At just 17 years old, Sarah traveled to Europe. Living there for not quite a year.
Falling in love with Germany and Poland.
She loved all four Seasons, but the Fall colors were where she learned to use them as a base for her wonderful creative water colors and pen and ink sketches.
Many times she would sell a piece to pay the rent or give them away as a present.
A gifted writer, her compositions always left the reader amazed at her God given talent! A true Leo in Nature, she was always keeping an eye on her little brother Alex,
like a mother and cub.
She leaves behind a mother, Valerie, a brother Alex, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
A Private service for Sarah in Saratoga has already been held.
A Celebration of Life for Sarah in Nevada County at the Seaman's Lodge will be on Saturday, October 14 from 1:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM. as a Fundraiser for Sarah's younger brother Alex.
Funds will go towards helping Alex get the necessary counseling he will need to move forward with the loss of his dad at 18 and now his sister's passing. A GO FUND ME account
has been set up.
