Savitaben R Patel passed away in her sleep on December 8th 2023 in San Jose, CA with family by her side at the age of 83.

She moved to the United States from Fiji with her late husband Rameshbhai, daughter Minakshi, and late son Sanjay in 1966. She worked hard throughout her life working in hospitality and took on both the mother and father role in the household after the death of her husband. She was very religious and loved to garden.

She leaves behind a daughter, Minakshi, a late son Sanjay, a daughter in law Nimisha, as well as 4 grandchildren, Sunny, Jimmy, Ashish and Devesh, and two great grandchildren Dylan and Reyna. Her warmth and wisdom shaped the lives of everyone in her family and her legacy of love, resilience, and kindness will forever live on in their hearts.

Family and friends are invited to Funeral Services Friday, December 15th at 10:30 AM at Alameda Family Funeral Home, 12341 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd., Saratoga.
