In remembrance of Seshadri "Sesh" Ramaswami
November 20th, 1960 - January 7th, 2024

Our dear Sesh Ramaswami left us on the evening of Sunday, January 7th, 2024, leaving a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His zest for life, enthusiasm, curiosity, gentle mischief, empathy, and positive energy, touched and illuminated all of us.

He was born in Bangalore, India, on November 26th, 1960 and completed his undergraduate education in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, followed by a Master's degree at Syracuse University. He moved to the Bay Area thereafter and had a distinguished career that included long tenures at AMD and Applied Materials, where he was Managing Director of the Advanced Product Development group. Along the way, Sesh acquired an Executive MBA at Haas School of Management at UC Berkeley.

Sesh was an active member of the Saratoga Rotary and served as its president in 2020-21. His legacy within the Rotary community is one of remarkable leadership, dedication, and a passion for service that touched every project he undertook. As President, he significantly contributed to the growth and success of the Club, leaving an enduring impact that will be remembered with deep gratitude and admiration.

Sesh was also an active member of the Saratoga community and enjoyed hiking with his friends in the Saratoga Hills.

We remember Sesh as a loving husband to Sangita, a caring father to Dhruv, and a devoted son to his parents Sharada and K.S. Ramaswami.

Thank you for joining us in remembering and celebrating the life of Sesh Ramaswami.  His spirit is with us: cheerful, loving and palpable!
