Shou Chong Albert Hsia was born in Shanghai, China on February 25, 1940 to William and Jessie Hsia.  He had two sisters, Pamela and Betty Hsia who reside in Florida.  Albert received two Bachelor degrees and a Master's degree in Computer Science in England.  He taught at the University of London for 10 years before immigrating to the United States of America.  He was on loan to teach "Numeric Methods" at Northeastern University by Digital Equipment Corp., then he worked for IBM for about 15 years and Sun Microsystems for 6 years.

Albert was a kind, gentle and loving person.  He was well respected and he had numerous friends.  Albert was also a wonderful, generous and considerate husband.  He was married to Pei Ngor Chen Hsia in 1981 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.  Albert and Pei held hands to go to sleep at night for the past 39 years.  He suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and died on March 4, 2020 at 2:30 PM.  Albert had just turned 80 years old.  We all miss him very much.
