Vasudev Hariram Tahiliani, 82, of San Jose, CA, passed away on June 25, 2025.

Funeral service will be held at Alameda Family Funeral & Cremation on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, with Pandit Shukavak officiating. Cremation will follow the ceremony.

A celebration of life will be held at the Tahiliani Home on Monday evening at 6:30 PM.

Vasu was born in Beroda, Gujarat to Hariram Tahiliani and Bhagwani Nindhi Tahiliani on October 26, 1942. He graduated from Rosary High School in Beroda, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Beroda and a Master of Science from the University of West Virginia. He worked as a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer for 51 years, retiring from Parsons Brinckerhoff at the end of 2017.

He loved going on walks and collecting flowers along the creek, which he would use for his ikebana arrangements. He was an avid wine enthusiast, creating his own blends in his garage. He treasured his beloved worm farm and tomato garden. He also enjoyed photography, hiking, and swimming. He was a resident of Santa Clara County for 41 years.

Vasu is survived by his wife Kiran and daughters, Mamta (husband Adam, children Aditya, Anand), Radhika, and Diya.
