Obituary

Born Vincenta Gail Lintini, better known as Vicki, to all family and friends, peacefully entered into eternity in her sleep, on February 12, 2023, at age 83. A treasured wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Frank and Diane Wyant, their two children Lindsey and Raymond Wyant, her daughter Christina (Christy) and son-in-law Anthony (Tony) Hernandez, their three children William, Alberto, and Jessie Ann, her three sisters and their families Phyllis and Fred Tarmann, Toni and Erskine Wilcox, and Frankie and Ray Briones, and two great-grandchildren, Gryphon and Owen.

Vicki was born on January 7, 1940, in San Jose, California, to Frank and Antonette Lintini. When she was 3 years old, the family moved to San Mateo where she began to blossom, at this early age, into an inspiring musician.  The oldest of four girls, she was dedicated to family and music, to the point of even having their own sisters' group who performed for family functions. They were called the Lintini Sisters (instead of the Lennon Sisters) with Vicki on the string bass, Phyllis on the piano, and Toni and Frankie on accordions.  This very large Italian family can reminisce forever, of all their wonderful family memories growing up.

Vicki attended San Mateo High School where her childhood love for music really began to accelerate.  Her hours of practicing through the years paid off, as she led the string bass section in the high school orchestra.  Her talent was further recognized by the California Youth Symphony Director, and she was invited to join the group, where once again, she would lead the string bass section.  At this time, little did she know she would also gain the eye of another very talented musician, Tom Wyant, who would become the love of her life.

After graduation from High School, both Vicki and Tom would attend San Jose State University as Music Majors, and graduate with Teaching Credentials.  They would later marry in 1963.

Spending two years in Buffalo New York while Tom served in the Army, Vicki continued being involved in the community, wherever she could be of help.  Hospitality and her love of people would always be another one of her calling cards.  Upon completion of his service to his country, Vicki and Tom would return to California where they would make their final home in Saratoga.

Vicki and Tom would both have careers as music teachers.  Vicki began to teach both choral and instrumental music at Woodside elementary. Then, becoming known as a "musical treasure" in the city of Saratoga and surrounding areas for 60yrs, Vicki taught thousands of students in the Saratoga Schools, Moreland School District, and at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she founded the Music Spirit Team in her 70's.   Vicki motivated countless students through the art of music inspiring many to become professional performers and begin their own teaching careers.  Her passion and dedication for family, faith, music, community, and hospitality, has helped to encourage many to strive to be their very best.

Her life was a Blessing, Her memory a Treasure.  She was Loved beyond Words and will be Missed beyond Measure.
