Wendelina "Mendy" Ganibe Aguinaldo, age 94, of Morgan Hill, California, passed away peacefully in her home on the Evening of January 14, 2023.

She was the sixth eldest of 13 children born to Felix and Arcadia Ganibe on August 03, 1928 in Kawit, Cavite. Philippines.  Married to her beloved husband Jose Aguinaldo, son of General Emilio Aguinaldo, for 72 years when he passed away in 2017.

Wendelina was preceded in death by her beloved husband; a daughter- Emelita Spindler; sisters- Adoracion Ganibe, Sonia Naycalo and Perla Baytan; brothers- Antonio, Teofilo, Faustino, Ricardo, Oscar, Herminio and Arturo; and her parents. She is survived by her children Angel Aguinaldo, Elenita Encarnacion, Evelyn Ayson, Estrella Gobok, Edwina Bautista, Lilibeth Gobok and Lulu Huelar; youngest sister Dolores Detruz; 22 grandchildren, 32 great- grandchildren, 2 great- great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephew and in-laws.

A loving, energetic and caring wife, mother and grandmother who tirelessly devoted her entire life to bring up her big family to their most desirable life.  She was very affectionate, helpful, and generous person who always has a golden heart to anyone that is in need of her help. A highly skilled and talented cook who loved to prepare delicious meals at the delight of the family.  Her excellent sewing skill in making cute little dresses for her granddaughters earned so much admiration not only from the family but strangers as well. She enjoyed traveling, going to casino and watching TFC programs.  She loved babysitting her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Lola". A truly remarkable woman in every sense who will be deeply missed by all.

A viewing will take place on Monday January 23, 2023 starting at 2PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00PM and Memorial at 7:00PM and then a light reception in Alameda Family Funeral and Cremation, 12341 Saratoga – Sunnyvale Road Saratoga, CA 95070.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 10:00AM in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4848 Pearl Ave, San Jose, CA 95136. Interment service will be held at 12 noon in Gate of Heaven, 22555 Cristo Rey Dr, Los Altos, CA 94024. "Reception to be held at Maggiano's Little Italy- Santana Row, 3055 Olin Ave, Suite 1000, San Jose, CA 95128".
