Yinfang Mi, a retired Chemical Engineer and resident of San Jose, CA, passed away on July 30, 2022 at the age of 83 from heart failure.

Yinfang was predeceased by her parents Haoshen and Ruiying. She was the beloved wife of Yonghui, caring sister of her three brothers Zhenyu, Zhenqi and Zhenqun, loving mother of her three children Linda, Shelly and Norman, and cherished grandmother of her five grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Yinfang was born on December 3, 1938 in Zhejiang Province, China. She attended Beijing Foreign Languages University in 1956 and obtained a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University in 1962. She worked as a Chemical Engineer for almost four decades in China and immigrated to the US after her retirement.

Yifang was a devoted mother, and a humble and kind person. She enjoyed classical music and reading. Yinfang will be deeply missed by her family, friends and people who knew her.

A funeral service is scheduled for 9:00 am on August 8 at the Alameda Family Funeral & Cremation located at 12341 Saratoga – Sunnyvale Rd, Saratoga CA.
